Microsoft Leaving Upper Valley

The Valley’s consummate insider, Anne Stanton, breaks the story that Microsoft is leaving the Upper Valley. Microsoft bought Viscinity a few years back, let go a bunch of good workers, and is now splitting town. Whether current employees are getting move offers is currently unknown. Could this be related to Microsoft’s commitment last month to move jobs to China? Curiously this comes just months after a big Novell sign went up in the Centerra office park. A changing of the guard, a portent, perhaps, of the changing winds.
